SHIPPING ITEMS TO EXCEL
Excel does not require you to call before shipping an item to us.  Simply package the item and ship to:

Be sure to include a packing slip with your order number and any special turnaround requests.  Also include any known failure symptoms and/or special operating conditions.  Excel will contact you immediately if it appears that an item received from you has been damaged in shipping.

ITEMS SHIPPED FROM EXCEL
Excel ships all packages via United Parcel Service, standard ground shipment unless otherwise requested by our customers.  Repaired items are wrapped in anti-static protective packaging and then foam packed for maximum protection during shipping.  All shipping charges are billable.  Items are not insured by Excel at the time of shipment; if you require insurance coverage in excess of the standard courier coverage then you must request this prior to shipment from Excel.

 
PRICING
For most items with repair list prices of $250 or more, Excel will perform repair work on a Time and Material basis with a “Not To Exceed” amount equal to the repair list price.  Labor hours for T&M work are billed at $100/hr. 

Items with list prices less than $250 and items that are tagged as Fixed Rate (FR) are billed at the listed Fixed Rate price. 

Listed repair prices are valid providing that items are economically repairable.  Part obsolescence and other extreme factors may result in an item being deemed “Beyond Economical Repair” by Excel technicians.  In these cases Excel will call and advise you on other repair or replacement options.

Standard repair turnaround
5–10 business days.  Standard business days are Monday thru Friday. 

RUSH REPAIR TURNAROUND OPTIONS
24 Hour, add $200 to repair cost.
48 Hour, add $100 to repair cost.

Excel will make every effort to meet rush requests.  The applicable rush fee will be billed in accordance with actual ship date relative to the repair approval date.  Friday approvals will ship on Monday for 24 hour requests and Tuesday for 48 hour requests.

WARRANTY
Excel warranties replaced parts and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of shipment from Excel.  In the unlikely event that an item repaired by Excel should fail due to a warranty condition simply send the item to us and we will perform an immediate evaluation.  Unauthorized tampering and failures due to act of god, improper operation, mishandling, or misapplication will void the Excel warranty. 

 
UnREPAIRED ITEMS
If after evaluation and quotation you determine that you want your item shipped back un-repaired then a $100 evaluation fee applies.

If after attempting to repair an item Excel determines that it cannot be economically repaired, then you pay nothing.  These items will be retuned to you standard UPS ground upon request.  Rush shipments will require that Excel bill you for freight charges.
